That's some legit trance right there, except that the kick shouldn't be so heavy or it could be sold as a heavey trance :D I am alittle bit dissapointed that the kick goes only for like 15 seconds of the music and the rest is just pad, wind and piano. It sure is quite relaxing and nice to listen tho.
+Audio quality is decent
+ construction is also relatively good
- Not much goin on there
- lack of progressive percussion

overal judgement of the ever judging judge : 4

Thanks for the review! Although this is just a sample for the whole thing, I agree with you on the kick drum and the progressions in general. I always feel like the kick should be meaty and solid but hey, that's just me. Thanks!

You made it pretty extremely loud. :(((((((((((

NemesisTheory responds:

Haha, it IS pretty loud & proud, isn't it? xD

Audio mastering needs alittle bit of more work, but the track is good enough to compensate for some issues. I like what you did here, wanna collab?

Jacob responds:

What sort of issues? It's hard for me to pinpoint the specific problems - I just know there's something wrong.
I really appreciate the feedback, and I'd love to collaborate sometime! Shoot me a PM, and we can discuss it. :)

This reminds me of my favorite piece from the ONI soundtrack! Good job.

Gave that a listen just now and it confirms what i know ; shamisen goes well with breakbeats in general, i've used a different one before as single notes.

I'm in love with your music, you know that right? :3

AliceMako responds:

This is realy great material for commercial uses. It's so... how to explain it (I was nevere very technical when it comes to revs) It's very relaxing and calm, once again 100% videogamish. First thing that came to my mind was that if Spore (the game from EA) had a more rational soundtrack, it would probably sound like this.

This is a great music for creation stuff like character editor/creation or building stuff.

VideoGameManiac responds:

Ty, also good for minecraft!

I like the combination of the soft synths with the bass. The music doesn't rush you anywhere, but it doesn't have much to offer either. It's not trying to be overly perky tho and it just flows by.
What I just said means that this music is pretty much great for relaxation and while doing something... from watching the dishes or just roaming the streets in your car.
It's the kind of music that can spice up your life a bit and it doesn't distract you too much from reality while you are listening to it. I would love to listen to this while driving in the city at dawn.

PrognoiseBIG responds:

Man Deshiel good to hear you like it so much. Yes makeing music is my way to relax and great to hear you can relax on my music =). I love LowBallin in the car - going home after a great DnB/DuB Party =). Geuss you do the same =).

You will hear from me soon =) !.
