I have like no balls when it comes to reviews, because I don't know the proper naming for all that techy stuff. So... Nice space work.

You still write them all the same, i've written a few lately but i rarely bother in general. Technical reviews can fall just as flat as one liners and simple statements.

The people whom could actually use help the most will typically not know what you're on about anyway and from intermediate producers upwards you can't smell exactly what they're doing to their mix so you're just as liable to say something incredibly stupid while meaning well.

So aside from potentially getting in a spat over some pithy writing that goes lost in translation from the get go anyway or mutual ego tripping by pretending you're both employed at skywalker ranch as studio technicians you're probably better off simply mentioning you like something or not.
