I had a blast, downloaded a bunch of awesome music, vibed with great people, even made some new friends.

That is what I always look up towards the most whenever I sign up when I enter these annual contests.

For the first time ever, I even recieved some condolences for not placing up in the winner roster. (lol)

If you are bothered by that, firstly thank you for your concern I really appreciate it, but please don't let it bother you because it does not bother me and don't start any shit in my name. (appreciate the offer tho lmao) in fact some of the winners were my own picks as well and like generally speaking, there were way too many tunes made by people 10x, 20x better than me so it's not like I felt like I had a shot anyway hehe. I'm satisfied and I look forward to next year.

Shout out to everyone who submitted thier project, whether it was music, animation, video game or art.

I really enjoyed seeing people with little history, basically newbies joining us in the participation for the first or second time ever. Entering a contest even as friendly and casual as this can be still scary for some people. Heck when I first started participating in Newgrounds events I had to look in the mirror and talk myself into participating.

Just applying felt scary and regardless of what I produced I always felt unworthy (still do) to be there and even after racking multiple winnings thorough the years I still battle with an imposter syndrome.

So yeah, shout out to everyone who had/have the courage to make something for Madness Day because it's not as easy for everyone and YOU have my respect for it.
