The original sounds more classic, more orchestral, more groovy, slower paced.
I tried to fall like hammer on this one, but I got a bit overcome by its astounding quality and amount of detail, in which I got lost together with my overall opinion. So as a true programmer/physicist/math person I started viewing small parts separately & taking the integral of the score from them. The score from my truly subjective opinion I posted as well.
Note: by sound chaos I mean those synthesized voices that make no musical sense, which accompany the track.

Looks like I failed to deliver the SGGSTN part wholly, here is what I meant:
The dramatic mood of Carmine Dragon is similar to that of Run 2.0. I only wanted to hear the leading instrument from Run 2.0 in Carmine Dragon. It should not voice the main theme, though. I only imagined a section of Carmine Dragon where that instrument would play some crazy melody, accompanied by sound chaos. And thought it would sound really, really pleasing to, at least my, ears. Because I personally dig that shit.
