Ah right, there's that aspect of it too, was thinking more so people leaving harsh comments without anything constructive to them. :) used to be more like that back in the day I suppose, usually the other way around now...
Good knowing on those influences too. :) Maybe that is what I'm hearing hmm, didn't get all that much into the Unreal realm in particular though.

Clarifying the want for consructive criticism's paradoxially probably very consructive criticism for some of those who've yet to master the correct methods of criticism. ;)

We all know that criticism has a bad reputation and so people try to stick to uplifting or discussing only the nice parts while leaving the bad for you to figure out on your own, if you ever. I don't mind some praise here and there but I'd also want to learn a progress from making and identifying mistakes. Granted that I don't always want to fix everything, since some flaws on my part could be just one of my many audio fetishes haha:)
